Instructions for Booking
Hotel accommodations can be made once you or a member of your company registers for the IDAExpo+. You will be sent a link to all of the hotel reservation pages for the IDAExpo+ within your registration confirmation email. Early departure fee of one night’s room rate plus tax will apply and if individual cancels reservation less than 72 hours prior to confirmed arrival date, or does not show, a “cancellation” or “no-show” fee of the first night’s room rate, plus tax, will apply. No exceptions.

Warning: Unauthorized hotel booking companies and travel agencies often contact attendees of large events such as the IDAExpo+ claiming to work with the association. These groups do not have permission to use the IDAExpo+ name nor are they affiliated with the IDAExpo+ in any way. We urge you to use caution when interacting with these groups.

The hotels featured are the only authorized housing providers for the IDAExpo+. And we are committed to providing you with the best quality services to make your experience a positive one.

Airport for Las Vegas is McCarran International Airport

  • 20 minute ride to the Las Vegas Convention Center and the The Sahara Las Vegas Hotel

Transportation from the Airport to the hotel

  • By airport shuttle bus. Available at multiple locations around McCarran Airport. Around 30 ‎minutes (buses wait until they are full before leaving). Click here for a list of shuttle service providers.
  • By taxi is around 15/20 minutes. Fares from $28‎

Getting to the Las Vegas Convention Center from the host hotel, The Sahara Las Vegas 
Bus Transportation will NOT be provided.  It is recommended that you purchase the discounted monorail.  There is a monorail stop right at our host hotel – The Sahara Las Vegas.  It will drop you off directly outside of the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center which is where you will enter to register for the 2024 IDAExpo+.

The Las Vegas Monorail is offering 2024 IDAExpo+ attendees exclusive fare discounts. Use the Monorail to travel the Strip and to the convention without the hassles of traffic and wasted time. Make sure to purchase your tickets before the IDAExpo+ as the discounts are available for a limited time!
