Florida Licensing Update

During this session, Dr. Cynthia Woodley will provide an update on Florida Licensing and how it is affecting the garage door industry.

Dr. Woodley has managed many professional certification examination programs (certification of persons) and is active in licensure and certification, serving on numerous professional committees and organizations. Dr. Woodley assists clients in preparing for ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation.

Dr. Woodley has an extensive experience in standards development specifically working with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the Conference for Food Protection, and the International Organization for Standardization.

Key standards work includes serving as:

• the convenor (Chair) of ISO CASCO Working Group (WG) 30, the ISO WG appointed to revise ISO/IEC 17024 and create ISO/IEC 17027, the terminology document for personnel certification and a co-convenor of ISO CASCO WG42 revising ISO/IEC 17011 (the standard for Accreditation Bodies),
• an Accreditation Body Assessor for ANSI for ISO/IEC 17024,
• a Director on ANSI’s Board of Directors and ANSI’s workcred Board of Directors,
• a Technical Expert for the Standards Council of Canada for ISO 17024 audits,
• a member of the ISO CASCO WG 21
• a member of the ISO CASCO Technical Interface Group (TIG)
• co-convenor of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) working group for ISO 17024 and co-convenor of the IAF working group for Assessor Competency.
• a member of ANSI’s International Conformity Assessment Committee (ICAC),
• a member of ISO’s Chairman’s Policy Committee (CPC),
• an “official communicator” representing ISO in the area of certification of persons,
• the Chair of the Food Manager Training, Testing and Certification Committee of the Conference for Food Protection
