Mike and Jonny will be discussing the benefits of high-performance doors versus traditional doors. They will also cover proper door type application by learning opening criteria, the benefits of a proper application versus improper application, and Misapplying doors in negative or positive pressure differences.

Mike Watkins is the Director of Commercial Sales for Wayne-Dalton and has 34 years of experience in the Commercial Door Industry. Mike was instrumental in the creation and implementation of IDEA’s 2-day schools and was the lead instructor of the Commercial Rolling/Rolling Steel Fire Door school for the first eight years of its existence. When asked to speak at Expo or other Industry events, Mike never says no. These are just a few of the reasons why he was the 2015 IDEA Daniel R. Apple Commitment to Professionalism Award Recipient.
JONNY CANNON

Jonny Cannon is a Wayne Dalton High-Performance Door Specialist for the East US and Eastern Canada. He has 39 years of experience. He attended NC State University and graduated from Wingate University. He has been married to Sarah for 29 years, and they have three wonderful adult children. He is a member of the Church of Christ, loves NC State Sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Cincinnati Reds. A sports card and Memorabilia enthusiast and enjoys being outside in God’s creation as much as possible, mainly the beach.
