How to Enjoy the Success of Your Hard Work

Tuesday, April 23 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

You’ve grown a successful business, now what?! How do you step away so that you can enjoy the ‎benefits of your success? What does the future of your company look like without you running the day-‎to-day? Who will take over when you decide to step back? Are you going to transfer the business to a ‎key employee? Will a family member take over? Would you take advantage of the growth in the ‎industry and sell to a private equity group? How much money would you walk away with at the end of ‎the sale or transfer? Selling or transferring a company is often a once in a lifetime happening and it is ‎never too early to develop a plan. This session will focus on forming a strategic plan to successfully ‎transfer your company, capturing the value of your success while minimizing your tax liability.‎
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of valuing a company;
  • Explore the exit options in succession planning;
  • Consider the tax liability of different strategies in selling or transferring their company; and
  • Secure the success they’ve built for the future through estate planning.‎
