Access Systems and Smart Homes: The New Future

Wednesday, April 15 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

The rise of smart technology is transforming the way we live and secure our homes. Access systems—‎once limited to keys and locks—have evolved into advanced solutions powered by biometrics, mobile ‎apps, and AI recognition. At the same time, smart homes are reshaping daily life through IoT-driven ‎automation, energy management, and personalized experiences. Together, these innovations create a ‎seamless ecosystem where entry control integrates with security, comfort, and convenience. While ‎challenges remain around cybersecurity, privacy, and cost, the future promises predictive access ‎systems, blockchain-based identity security, and integration with smart cities. Access systems are no ‎longer just about keeping doors locked—they are becoming the digital guardians of connected living.‎
