John Hart, serving his second term on the IDA (International Door Association) board of directors, currently holds the positions of Treasurer and Chair of the Education Committee. With more than 25 years of industry experience, John has traveled extensively, working with manufacturers across North America, Europe, and Asia. He contributed as a committee member for the CSA 22.2 No. 247 standard in Canada, which was replaced with the UL325 safety standard. John’s broad experience in adapting technology for the North American market, coupled with his expertise in product development, distribution, and dealer network expansion, offers a unique perspective on products, current industry trends and future opportunities.
